Q. How do I add money in my RapiPay Wallet?

A. You can add money to your RapiPay Wallet by Taping on add money icon on home page by following option: -

Q.Is there any limitation on adding money in my RapiPay Wallet?

A. If you are a Non-KYC user, you can add up to Rs.10, 000 in a calendar month in your RapiPay Wallet. Click here to Request for FULL KYC Wallet Upgradation Feature. If you are a KYC user, you can add any amount as long as your RapiPay wallet balance does not exceed Rs.1,00,000 at any point of time.

Q. Amount has been debited from my bank account but not credited into my Wallet, what can I do?

A. Due to some of the following reasons, amount is not credited into your RapiPay Wallet account: -

In that case, your money will be refunded into your bank account. This may take 2 to 3 days as most of the banks process refund in 2 to 3 days or some banks may take 7 days also to process refund. RapiPay also shares the transaction reference number, so that they can easily validate and refund your amount. If bank is not sharing your payment status you can contact to our RapiPay Support Team.

A. You can send the money to your friends and family on their mobile number, by using RapiPay Wallet App or Web App.

Q. In what time, can I start transferring the funds?

A. There will be a cooling period of 10 minutes for transferring of funds upon creation of Rapipay Wallet or loading / reloading of funds into the Wallet or after adding a beneficiary.

Q. I have send money to my friends and Family, who don't have RapiPay wallet, in that case, how he/she will receive the money?

A. If the receiver is not having the RapiPay Wallet account, he/she will receive an SMS with a RapiPay Application link, he/she will download the application, after clicking on the link, register themselves and they will receive the money, till that time the sending amount is visible in your transit balance. If he/she is not creating an account within a week, then the amount will be credited into your account automatically.

Q. Is there any charge to send money through RapiPay?

A. No, sending money is totally free of cost to friends and family.

Q. Is there any limitation to send the money?

A. You can send money in a calendar month Rs. 10,000 as per RBI guidelines, if you want to send more money, upgrade your wallet to full KYC wallet.

Scan Code (Mobile App)

Q. What is Scan Code on the mobile App?

A. QR code has the merchant details so you can scan QR code and pay quickly.

Q. How do I Pay when I see the merchant QR code?

A. Open the RapiPay app

Q. I am not able to scan merchant QR Code, what can I do?

Q. How do I check my payment status or previous payment details (both in Web and Mobile App)?

A. You can check in the passbook option , tap on passbook icon you can view the latest transaction details on the screen, if you want to see more transaction details on mobile app just swipe the screen, select the from date and to date and view the details. For the web also, there is a side menu in which passbook option is available. Select the option,select the date preferences and click on View Statements.

Q. I have made less or extra payment, what can I do in this situation?

A. If you have made a less payment, then you can make another payment with the outstanding balance, or if you have made an extra payment, then you can request the merchant to refund or contact us at care@rapipay.com .

Q. How to pay using show code?

A. Tell your merchant you want to pay with your RapiPay Wallet

Q. I had shared my mobile number with the merchant, but I don't have sufficient balance?

A. You can add the money in your RapiPay wallet, and then share your OTP or Scan code for transaction.

Q. Merchant requested for wrong amount OTP, what should I do now?

A. Tell your merchant to initiate the new transaction with correct amount. If you have already paid a higher amount then tell your merchant to refund, if merchant is not able to do that then contact RapiPay Support team.
